Hi [participant name], I’m [interviewer name], [role title] at [company name], thanks for joining me today.

I’m really looking forward to talking with you about your experiences with [product name].

Before we get started let me quickly run you through how this interview will work.

I’ll be asking you a series of questions, all aimed at getting your unique perspective. Just so you know, this isn’t a quiz – so there are no right or wrong answers.

I’m all ears for your honest thoughts; there’s no need to walk on eggshells. You won’t ruffle any feathers, mine included. So, feel free to share your thoughts openly.

Your insights are incredibly valuable to us, and I want you to know that your feedback plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product.

Also, what we discuss stays confidential and is for internal purposes only. If it’s okay with you, I’ll also be recording this call because as we all know we can chat much quicker than we can type!

Is it ok for me to proceed?
